Audition for BSR
This past weekend I attended the Boston Singers Resource annual general audition. My good friend M. Daniel Draper auditioned at this in March and has already been offered a job. I sang the second half of "Che Gelida Manina" from Puccini's La Boheme and it seemed to be well accepted. A number of companies were in attendance, such as Longwood Opera and Opera del West.
That ends the auditions that I have planned for the immediate future. This weekend also marked the 3 month notice until the wedding. I anticipate the next 3 months being very busy as we finish setting up for the wedding and getting the last minute things done. Right now everything is booked, church, reception site, catering and of course the music. Also, I have finished the code for the website. I am considering making the schedule section dynamic and easier to update, but we will see how soon that becomes important. Hopefully very soon. :) - Gregory -
