I am the Poet This past friday I had a big audition for Orient Heights Music. I am pleased to announce that I will be singing the role of Rodolfo in act one of La Boheme and the title role in the third act of L'amico Fritz. This is very exciting as I mentioned in my last post, because the first act of Boheme is my favorite by far. I had also mentioned that Daniel Draper was auditioning. He has been given the part of Marcello in Boheme and David in Fritz. The four performances at the last two weekends in October and the first two weekends in November. I am very happy to have this part and I will be working very hard over the coming months to make sure to sing my best. I am now scheduled pretty full up through December, so I will be hanging off of auditions for a bit. As more information comes in regarding the upcoming vocal competition I will be in, the BSR select audition that I got called back for, Borsa, Rodolfo and Fritz, and the concerts next spring, I will update it here.
